Learn2DriveLog keeps a simple log of supervised driving hours. We collect as little as possible to do that, and we never sell your data. Last updated June 13, 2026.
We collect only what's needed to run your driving log:
We do not use GPS, track your location in the background, or record where you drive. The city you pick is only used to look up local sunrise and sunset times.
Your information is used to sign you in, store and display your driving log, calculate day and night hours, and show your progress toward your state's requirement. We may email you about your account or important changes to the service. We do not use your data for advertising.
If you choose "Continue with Google," Google confirms your identity and shares your email address with us — nothing more. We also use trusted service providers to send email and to host the app. These providers only process data on our behalf, and we never sell your data to anyone.
Accounts are separate. Each driver's logs are visible only to that account — a parent teaching more than one learner gives each of them their own private log. We don't share one driver's hours with another.
Many learner drivers are teenagers. If you are under the age of digital consent in your area, please use Learn2DriveLog with a parent or guardian. We collect the same minimal information for every account regardless of age, and a parent can request access to or deletion of a minor's data at any time.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete any individual drive at any time. To remove everything, open Settings and choose "Delete account" — this permanently erases your account and every log and session, with no waiting period.
If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know by email. Continuing to use Learn2DriveLog after a change means you accept the updated policy.
